Office of Professional Development will offer
“The Tour De France” Regional Cooking Classes
with Sheridan Dockery Nice
Six sessions:
6:45 p.m. until 9:00 p.m
Thursday October 29th,
November 5th, 12th, 19th, and
December 3rd and 10th .
The course provides participants a chance to tour the five provinces of France through French cuisine. Using the best of seasonal fresh ingredients, sans preservatives, additives or chemicals, each class will end in a three course meal.
Each class will feature classic as well as modern cuisine, beginning with the regions of Brittany and Normandy.
About Our Instructor
Sheridan Nice is the owner of Mona Lisa’s Gelato & Cafe in Johnson City, TN, with her partner and husband, Steve Nice. She is a graduate of La Varenne, Ecole de Cuisine, Paris and a recipient of a Baking and Pastry scholarship from The International Association of Culinary Professionals, to The Culinary Institute of America, Napa Valley. Her experience as a restaurateur and chef are matched only by her creative intuition and penchant for authoring memorable flavor experiences.
Registration covers six sessions beginning on
Thursday, October 29th from 6:45 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The course cost is $249 and includes a copy of
“The Food of France” by Waverly Root.
